Reflection

The last month has been filled with so much to do and oh so little time, amidst the steady flow of so much going on around me, I have had a peace unlike any other time in my life. When we finally surrender all our hopes and dreams before the Lord it is incredible how He will answer the longings of our hearts in His most perfect timing! I am reminded of Romans 5:6, “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.” His timing not ours is key to going through this life in a way that would bring Him glory. As I prepare to embark on yet another medical trip, My body is weak yet my heart and mind is ever so willing and excited to go serve. Please pray for me and the team going, most of the same people from last year will be on this year’s team once again Pray for wisdom for the doctors, for strength for the team to be united and to stay healthy, for the patients and their salvation, pray for the gospel to impact many lives as this is at the core of why we serve overseas. We will be flying into manila, from there taking a flight  heading south, working in two different mission hospitals one 60 bed hospital and the other 100, our area of impact will be around 5-7 thousand people! Thank you, I am blessed to go with such prayer warriors supporting me. The philippines has a special place in my heart, so much need, so many ways to serve my King, truly beyond blessed.  The surgeon makes the wound yet it is the Lord who will heal it ultimately!
